Tooling Design Modeling for Composite Fuselage of Beechcraft King Air 250 using CATIA

Aircraft’s constant operation in tough conditions necessitates the need for structural components of high strength yet low weight. Composite materials are being used as an alternative to conventional aluminum alloys because their competitive strength-to-weight and stiffness-to-weight ratios. In this paper, detailed design procedure a light-aircraft composite material fuselage tooling three dimensions is shown. its operation, layup tools provide surface part which correct shape stable through cure cycle, also providing means indexing next manufacturing operation. This aims achieve desired position accuracy improve efficiency assembly procedures. All parts designed measured using CATIA Version 5 software. The modeled here section Beechcraft King Air 250. At time writing, process fabrication entirely different. should be viewed it would cut down weight costs while improving safety.
